On the 1st of February, Serenity Wyatt, a 25 year veteran of the Department was promoted to Commander of the Professional Standards Division. This promotion comes from one of three Commander promotions that were handled on the 1st day of February.
Commander Wyatt got her Criminal Justice degree at the San Diego State University where she would later move to Los Santos. Her career began in 1995, where she become a Deputy Sheriff. For the most part of her career, she would stay at the Sanctum Sheriff's Station, where she would rise to the rank of Sergeant, becoming Watch Commander certified.
For a change in career paths, Commander Wyatt would then be assigned as Operations Lieutenant for the Internal Affairs Bureau in 2011, where she would cement her name into the Bureau and would work as the Operations Lieutenant for the next three years. Continuing her career in the Internal Affairs Bureau, Commander Wyatt would then be promoted to the Unit Commander of the Bureau.
After cementing her name into the Professional Standards Division as the Unit Commander for the Internal Affairs Bureau, Commander Wyatt would then receive her promotion out of Internal Affairs and oversee the entirety of the Professional Standards Division.
